According to the latest report, Xiaomi is now doing work on the next-generation Mi Note smartphone besides a new variant of its flagship Mi 5. The report tells that the so-called Mi Note 2 will unveil in three version models – standard, high and top-end.
Gizmo China reports that the exact details regarding Xiaomi Mi Note 2 are not revealed; though it hints some features hoped to be included on the new headset. According to the leaked information via a Weibo source, the so-called standard Mi Note 2 variant will support single back camera setup, Hi-Fi chip and will feature quick charging support. In addition to the standard version, the high Mi Note 2 will house a dual camera setup at the rear side of the smartphone.
The top variant Mi Note 2 is expected to come with a curved screen display and will sport same features as its other two versions – standard and top. The report also depicts that the standard version will pack 4GB RAM while on the other side, the high and top variants will include 6GB RAM.
Moving to the new Xiaomi Mi 5 version, the Mi 5s is called to reach in the 2nd half of this year. The smartphone will come with a “pressure-sensitive display” which is hoped to work similarly as 3D touch of the Apple. Some of the other revealed features of this smartphone include a dual back camera setup and Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. My Drivers tells that the smartphone will feature a 5.15-inch full HD display screen and might boast 6GB RAM.
Xiaomi currently launched the first Chinese-developed ROM and made it available to download. The company released the version 6.6.16 MIUI 8 China Developer ROM reachable to users and also unveiled the changelog support to them.
