Martin Shkreli Is Announced To Be Jailed For His Post on Facebook about Hillary Clinton

The Kiyo A. Matsumoto, a federal US District Judge in the in New York, revoked $5 million bail of Martin Shkreli with ordering to be jailed for harassing and threatening women online and even for posting bout Hillary Clinton on his Facebook page. It is also reported that Shkreli is on facing the prison for upto 20 years because of the security fraud.

Shkreli has written to admit his apology that he never had expected that anyone to take those comments seriously. Also the attorneys of Shkreli pleaded to the judge to forgive him and give another chance. Since, Shkreli previously has done the online threats and women harassment online which was a danger to the community. And recently he even had offered $5,000 to his followers on Facebook for grabbing a strand of hairs of Hillary Clinton during the book tour.

Martin Shkreli wrote in the post on Mrs. Hillary Clinton, saying that, “On HRC’s book tour, try to grab a hair from her. Will pay $5,000 per hair obtained from Hillary Clinton.”

The federal judge, Matsumoto got angry after knowing Shkreli’s posts in July which crudely says that he might have sex with Lauren Duca, a female journalist as part of threatening behavior. Thus, Shkreli got banned from Twitter for harassing Duca in January, after his invitation was rebuffed by her of attending the inauguration Trump.

United States’ Judge Kiyo A Matsumoto, worded as, “The fact that he continues to remain unaware of the inappropriateness of his actions or words demonstrates to me he may well be creating an ongoing risk to the community.”
