Moto M

Lenovo-owned Motorola today launched its much-anticipated “Moto M” for the Indian market. With the fingerprint scanner at the back and bearing an all-new metallic design, the Moto M since last couple of months has kept on taking the market by storm. However, today, at an official event, Motorola wrapped curtain up from the Moto M. With the starting price tag of Rs. 15, 999, the phone will be exclusive to Flipkart. The sale of Moto M on Flipkart is scheduled to live from December 14 at 11:59 pm.

As said by Motorola, Moto M will be available in two variants in terms of Storage Capability. One model will arrive with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the higher variant will hit availability with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Concerning pricing details, the 3GB RAM/32GB model will cost Rs. 15, 999 and the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM variant will be priced at Rs. 17, 999.

However, under an exclusive offer on Flipkart, Lenovo is giving Rs. 1,000 markdown on buying Moto M with Citibank cards. In addition, the Chinese Multinational is also offering Rs. 2,000 discount on the exchange of any old smartphone. Moreover, the company is also giving a Rs. 1,000 off on the Moto Pulse 2 headphones to the buyers of Moto M. However, all these offers and discounts are exclusive to Flipkart only.

As far as the specifications of Moto M are concerned, the handset is packed with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen which is mated on 1920×1080 pixels display resolution and a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 couple with 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB variants. The internal storage part of Moto M is further expandable up to 128GB via micro-SD card slot.

In the optical part, the Moto M carries a 16-megapixel rear shooter accompanied by f/2.0 aperture, dual tone flash, and PDAF support. Similarly, the front part of the phone is integrated with an 8MP selfie snapper. The phone is backed by a massive 3050mAh battery empowered by the Turbo Charging support and is claimed to deliver a long-lasting power backup to the phone.

On the software front, the phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Moreover, the audio section of Moto M is enriched with Dolby Audio support, which will deliver the users a seamless musical experience.
