After so many speculations and uncertainty, Apple initiated the pre-orders for its much-anticipated AirPods in the US. Apple today announced the availability of its AirPods for advance online order on Apple.com for the US marketplace, while the shipment of the new wireless headphones is declared to go live from the next week, on December 21. In the meantime, Apple also announced the AirPods to be accessible in Apple Stores, Apple Authorized Resellers and select retail outlets to form the next week.
For the US markets, Apple has tagged the AirPods with the price range of 159 USD (around Rs. 15, 400).
To recall, AirPods were first introduced back in September alongside the iPhone 7. At the time of launch, Apple announced its high-end wireless headphone to be available in retails by the end of October. However, because of the high demands, the availability timeline pushed forward to more six weeks.
Whatever it may be, the AirPods will be presented in retail outlets of the US, while the shoppers can now book it on Apple.com. However, till now, Apple hasn’t confirmed about the availability of the headphone accessories. But we can expect the accessories to be offered in the US-based markets for the holiday season.
