Chrome OS 61 Is Updated With a New-Look Login Screen and Visual Appearance

The most popular web browser and a search engine giant, the Google Chrome has now set to come up with a bunch of all new APIs for the developers along with moving its address bar on to the bottom of screen. The update also gives an improved version of Google Translate bar, while the updates are so fortunately not only for the version Chrome 61, but also for Chrome OS 61 that has recently started to roll out the users.

On a first look, users will be noting the new login as well as lock screen of Chrome OS 61, where the previous version was having a single card at the center of display screen along with the profile picture of the user, located at just above the text box of password. The new version offers an eye-catching screen where the whole wallpaper is made blurred with a round shaped profile picture.

The new version of browser has also added a few tweaks in the app launcher. If one is constantly following the browser, he must have idea that the new launcher is tested for a while, but now it is available in the browser’s stable version.

When users will click on the button called ‘All Apps’, they will be able to find all the installed apps. The new launcher also has a black background that is partially transparent, but the company informed that it will be as same as the blurred background of a login screen.

After taping or swapping the up arrow, the window will show all the installed apps and after opening the launcher in different modes, such as tablet mode it will expand automatically.
