BSNL, the state-owned telecom operator, has come up with a new data and voice call tariff that will surely blow your mind. With the aim to combat the sensation of Reliance Jio’s free voice call and data offer and to meet the standard of other telecom operators like Airtel, Idea Cellular, and Vodafone, BSNL yesterday has announced a new data and voice call tariff for its prepaid subscribers.
Friday, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited aka BSNL launched its new data and voice call bundle pack only at Rs. 99 for the prepaid users. Under the new scheme, the users can avail unlimited voice call from BSNL-to-BSNL network along with the extra data benefit. With the free voice calling offer, the Rs. 99 pack will allow users to enjoy a limited free data usage of 300 MB of data. With the free voice call offer to both STD and Local BSNL numbers, the pack will be valid for 28-days.
The new offer is applicable in the telecom circles of Kolkata TD, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Gujrat, MP, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra & Rajasthan only. Now, the company is planning to launch this entry-level voice call pack in other telecom circles across India soon. While in the circles as mentioned above, the offer will be available for Rs. 99, in other telecom circles, the same offer will vary from the range of Rs 119 to 149.
While announcing the new tariff, BSNL in an official statement said, “The introduction of new unlimited local and STD BSNL to BSNL with additional data benefits of 300 MB data only @Rs 99 with the validity of 28 days will help the pre-paid users to enjoy a more flexible and affordable telecom service.”
Along with the voice call pack, BSNL also launched a new combo STV pack with Unlimited local and STD BSNL to other networks with extra data benefit of 1GB. Under the new STV, pre-paid users will be able to enjoy unlimited voice call from BSNL-to-Other Networks only at Rs 339 with the validity of 28 days. The package will privilege user with extra 1GB high-speed data with 28-days validity.
