People who are travelling from Europe to the United States, via flights, are soon going to face the impact of ban on carrying electronics in the flight cabin. As per the new security rules, travelers will no more be able to carry their laptops inside the flight. However, it seems that New Zealand is not in a mood to follow the same rules. People travelling to New Zealand can still carry electronic items inside the flight.
On the other hand, Australia is in favor of the United States, and it is looking forward to follow the footsteps of the United States. In this regard, the spokesperson for transport minister of New Zealand, Simon Bridge said that the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) of his country has no plans to alter the security and safety measured. However, she also added that it is also a truth that the CAA of New Zealand continues to discuss these things with the international as well as local agencies in order to beef up the security levels.
Lately, the announcement made by the United States about restricting the carrying of laptops inside the aircrafts created a lot of buzz. In the announcement, ten countries were specifically mentioned. People flying from these ten countries have to follow the rules. Turkey, Qatar, and UAE are also among the ten countries.
The latest rules are certainly going to add more security to the aviation sector of the United States, and passengers would feel safer as well. But, it would be interesting to see how this ban is going to affect the travelers.
